This is me at 25, hanging at the beach with my friends and my hobie cat. Those were the days, I had just finished collage, was tanned, and ready to roll.

With this painting I wanted to combine a contemporary graphic feel to contrast with my tight neo-pointillest technique. I tried to be a lot looser with the underpainting. I added out of registration etching marks to add movement and give the painting a looser feel.

The painting is done with acrylic paint on 2 sheets of 18"x24" plexiglass on top of 3 sheets of 24"x32" plexiglass.
